The Group are currently carrying out research into the history of this property and its occupiers.

Unfortunately the Leicestershire and Rutland Wild Life Trust demolished the main house shortly after they acquired what is now the Charnwood Lodge Nature Reserve. It was situated close to the centre of the reserve with its ancillary buildings surrounding it, some of which are still standing.
